Sneakers to release this weekend - from June 03.09 to 03.12, 2017

Why is everyone so obsessed with retro kicks now in 2017? There is no need to step too far back to see how futuristic silhouette and high tech materials were monopolizing the audience attentions and hype until 2016. On the contrary 2017 were dominated by teatro-releases with Air Max 97 and Air More Uptempo on top. The reason could be the massive influence fashion is having on sneaker trends. Surely 80's and 90's revival has been a super hot trend in fashion recently and especially for the last couple of season. It's clear that what is happening in fashion somehow influenced the sneaker market, turning the main trend for sneakers from futuristic to retro. Is this relation between fashion and sneaker trend going to last?

Nike Air Max 97

Really not much to say, one of the most sought after sneakers of the 
year has been restocked in big quantities. If you have struggled for not 
having your pair yet, this is your best chance to get one. Air Max 97

Nike SF-AF1 MID “Tiger Stripe Camo”

In the mid of the retro-madness SF-AF1 have been a nice surprise for every  military supplies lover. The former iterations have been really well received. So it is no surprise that a new cw is coming out. Nike chose the "mid" model of AF1 for this tiger camo version of SF. It seems that lately tiger Camo is getting quite a lot of attention. If fact this SF-AF1 come right after Carhartt WIP X Converse collab that also presented a tiger camo cw. The sneaker features a nylon and leather upper with a reflective product number printed on one side. The compression strap have remains untouched, compared to previous 
iterations.

Asics x Patta GEL-Lyte III

Right after last collaboration with Vans, Patta is now ready to release an exclusive GEL-Lyte III with ASICS, one of their most historic collaborators. The sneakers will feature a perforated upper in premium suede. The colorway will be a warm mix of brown tones with burgundy hints. The sneakers will also present 3M reflective details and will be available at all Patta locations.

Reebok x Allen Iverson Answer 4

This sneaker first 100 pairs will be exclusively released at Lapsone and Hammer  in Philadelphia, during a special event that will also see the Allen Iverson himself as a guest. If you're not lucky enough to be one of the 100 exclusive guests, the sneakers will also be released online the next day in limited quantities.

Head Porter x adidas NMD Chukka

adidas has teamed up with renowned Japanese bags and accessories brand to revamp one of the most underrated NMD models. The colorway is one of the cleanest seen until now. A full black primeknit upper with blue NMD bumpers and the adidas three-striped logo on the heel strip. The sneakers will be released in limited quantities through Head Porter and 
adidas.
