After announcing that Demna Gvasalia will not want to show Vetements's SS18 collection during the Fashion Week, declaring to Vogue that the fashion show system is becoming "repetitive and tiring," today it's Maison Margiela who follows the footsteps of the colleague.

The news was announced by WWD, stating that the maison will not present its SS18 menswear collection during the upcoming Paris Fashion Week – which will begin on June 21st. According to the magazine, the reason of this decision is that the brand "is believed to be aligning its men's ready-to-wear collection more closely with its women's line and Artisanal couture collection" – a move that concerns the strategies of the new chief Excutive Officer, Riccardo Bellini.

Meanwhile, the Maison Margiela's SS18 menswear collection will be presented exclusively to buyers at the showroom Staff International from 26 June to 23 July.
