Even before the sex revolution in fashion, Kanye West surprised the audience wearing women's clothing. Like in 2011 when he appeared on Coachella's stage wearing a womenswear's Céline blouse or at the Watch the Throne Tour in 2014 when he went on the SXSW stage wearing a Givenchy leather skirt.

For the Yeezus Tour of 2013, Maison Martin Margiela has curated the entire rapper's wardrobe, including the iconic masks covered with brilliant stones, palettes and decorations.
# 3 MET Gala 2016
Kanye West and Kim Kardashian conquered the red carpet spotlights with their total-look Balmain. The rapper, in particular, took the attentions of all of us with his blue contact lenses that gave him a glacial – and disturbing – gaze that we will hardly forget.

For his single Wolves from the The Life Of Pablo album, Kanye West has collaborated with Balmain, making a video–campaign for the FW16 collection of the Maison. The video was directed by Steven Klein and also SIA and Vic Mensa, as well as Joan Smalls, Sara Sampaio, Cindy Crawford, Jourdan Dunn and Alessandra Ambrosio, appear in it.

Perhaps the pinnacle of Kanye West's career in fashion. The YEEZY Season 3 collection has been presented with a maxi-event at Madison Square Garden that has combined fashion and music. During the show, the rapper released his album The Life Of Pablo, while the models – including Young Thug, Ian Connor, Lil Yachty and Naomi Campbell – posed in front of hundreds of viewers.
