Dior will become part of LVMH

Only a few hours ago was announced the acquisition of Dior by the French giant LVMH. The group, founded and directed by Bernard Arnault, already had more than half of the shares in Dior's maison, but this morning, with a bid of nearly 13 billion euros, the French magnate wanted to merge the brand with the group.

"The corresponding transactions will allow the simplification of the structures, long requested by the market, and the strengthening of LVMH's Fashion and Leather Goods division thanks to the acquisition of Christian Dior Couture, one of the most iconic brands worldwide".

This is what Arnault has stated, saying that this is a complex operation but at the same time simplifies the structures and above all it makes good hope for the long life of the brands belonging to the group.

The operation will be completed for the second half of this year, but stay tuned for all updates.
