After the success of previous NikeLab x RT collaboration - which in 2016 led to models like NikeLab Dunk Lux High x RT, Free Train Force Flyknit x RT, Transform Flyknit x RT e Nike Air Zoom Legend x RT - Riccardo Tisci turnes back to Nike reinventing a classic of 80's skate culture. NikeLab Dunk Lux Chukka x Riccardo Tisci is the perfect mix of nostalgic aestethic and technoligical progress: the latest Nike technology such as the Lunarlon sole and the memory foam in the shoecollar and tongue meets the classic color palettes of the 80s in three different combinations.
The entirely genuine leather and without holes uppers gives both strenght and unique comfort. To differentiate the Dunk Lux Chukka from its original version there are the exaggerated proportions and the maxi swoosh on both sides, not counting the irrevocable RT marked imprinted on the heel and an exeptional testimonal like Bella Hadid.
“I think the Dunk has something that’s very special. It’s grounded in sport as well as in the street style culture", declared Tisci, "For younger generations it can fit as many different styles tribes as you can imagine. I think it’s one of the most iconic shoes that Nike has ever created”.
Dunk Lux Chukka x RT will be available from February 10 in selected stores (NikeLab Bergdorf Goodman, NikeLab 21M, Dover Street Market New York, BK and Concepts Kith NYC) and in all the NikeLab stores and online on nike.com/nikelab starting from February 23.
