Watch the trailer for Trainspotting 2

Last September we hinted at the fact that, to mark the 20th anniversary of the film, Trainspotting’s director had expressed the wish to make a sequel of it.

All confirmed: the filming of T2, that’s the title chosen for the work, has began this month in Edinburgh, Scotland, and a trailer which anticipates its events is already available online. The protagonists of the film do not seem to have changed too much, and the soundtrack signed by Iggy Pop helps to give the illusion that time has never passed.

The release is expected for January 2017. Stay tuned to discover if the wait was worth it.
