The world Goes Pop
At Tate Modern until January 24, 2016
December 15th, 2015
The Pop Art we know through books, documentaries and turistic tours is just a part of the ramifications this movement has known during its development.
The EY Exhibition: The World Goes Pop at the Tate Modern in London aims to unveil exactly the less known aspects of this artistic phase. From Asia to South America, passing through Europe and the Middle East, the exhibition gathers more than 200 works belonging to the 60s and 70s which illustrate how the different countries of the world have taken part into the movement, excluding the "classic" Andy Warhol and Basquiat.
A trip in Technicolor which presents the Pop Art as a universal language, which gave origin to stimulating works both aesthetically and intellectually.
Until January 24, 2016 at Tate Modern, Bankside - SE19TG London.
