Every human being has normally erotic fantasies, meaning that he uses the imagination to represent scenes that are erotically exciting, with no other purpose than the excitement itself: pornography is the realization of these fantasies into images, drawings, writings, objects or other productions , including illustrations: from the ancient Greek vase paintings to the modern illustrations of Kaethe Butcher, a long time has passed and the trends in terms of sex have changed, but its essence remains unchanged.
The artist describes her style as provocative, irreverent, a little bit melancholy and with structures and patterns reminiscent of the art trend of the Jugendstil. She always combines her drawings with a slogan, a sentence or a thought, and prefers female subjects of whom she underlines the grace of every angle of the body.
Forms of explicit representations are witnessed in most of the history of civilization, and it is controversial whether the relative importance of pornography is correlated with the "degree of civilization" of a community.
