Pasticceria Prada-Marchesi is the new hot spot in Milan
September 9th, 2015
The new patisserie Prada-Marchesi inaugurates today in via Montenapoleone 9 in Milan and it’s going to be an instagram-friendly success exactly like Bar Luce inside Fondazione Prada.
The investment had been announced by the Prada Group months ago, but now the new gourmet destination of the Italian city has finally opened to the public: 120 meters square covered in brown marble, counter in glass and cherry wood, a big mirror and naturally shelves full of cakes, pastries, pralines, biscuits and brioches of every kind.
Besides the decorative splendours, the focus of the activity remains the quality of bakery: “the production will remain artisanal and all products will be prepared in house every day” affirms pastry chef Angelo Marchesi.
A refined place which brings back the charm of tradition, made even more welcoming by the pistachio tones chosen for the and armchairs and wallpapers.
Open from Monday to Saturday 7.30 am – 8 pm, on Sunday 8.30 am – 1 pm.
