Dolce via: Rome in the '80s

Can you imagine the streets of Rome, the Colosseum, the Tiber, the Trevi fountain?
These are the attractions that strike the most anyone who finds himself walking around the Italian capital. It happened to American photographer Charles H. Traub as well, who, instead of focusing on the most touristic destinations of the city, immortalised Rome through his inhabitants, their habits and their costumes.
It happened in the '80s and what comes to light is the portrait of a relaxed city, surrounded by people who fully enjoy what they are doing, without the frenzy of having to instagram it asap as it would happen today. Here are some images taken from Dolce Via: Italy in the 80s, to put you in a chill holiday mood.
