Opening Lucio Amelio exhibition in Naples

Lucio Amelio was one of the leaders in the market of international contemporary art since the mid-sixties to the mid-nineties.
In 1969, Naples was opened in Martyrs' Square the seat of the gallery that would bear his name and that would house some of the most important artists of the international scene, such as Robert Rauschenberg, Mario Merz, Jannis Kounellis, Keith Haring, Cy Twombly .
Following the earthquake in Naples in November 1980, thought to involve more than 50 international artists in a collection-exhibition "TERRAE Motus", with works that had as its theme the earthquake, and had the merit to bring in Andy Warhol in Naples establishing an intense and collaborative.
Friday, November 21 at 19:00, the museum of Naples "Madre" opens the exhibition of Lucio Amelio, ranging from the genesis of Modern Art Agency Terrae Motus (1965-1982), preparing documents, books and much more.
