Un po' tutti nella vita abbiamo conservato, almeno una volta, il tappo della bottiglia di vino come portafortuna, ma questo è nulla in confronto ai migliaia tappi posseduti da Scott Gundersen che ne conserva e ricicla migliaia al giorno, per le sue vere e proprie opere d'arte. Parte da una fotografia, poi la disegna su una superficie più grande e dopo la riempe di tappi. L'arte sta proprio in questo processo di traslazione d'immagine, Scott usa tappi, più o meno, impregnati di vino e li assembla in base alle sfumature dei volti delle sue fotografie, genio assoluto. Il suo ultimo lavoro, Trisha, è composto da ben 3.621 tappi, ma altre opere passate sono state ottenute con la bellezza di 9.000 tappi.
