At The Fix Gallery
February 1st, 2017
Copenhagen is dedicating an exhibition to Andrea "Face" Facelli. The Italian artist famous for graffiti and collages in which blends the sacred and profane, classical and geometric with a disturbing and, at the same time, magnetic gaze will be the star in "Tales of Snakes & Holy Water". The exhibition, hosted by February 2 at The Fix Gallery, features new artworks, mostly collages, made from an expansive collection of images and clippings from old porn magazines, antique books, real golden leaves and "vagina scent". The collection is a reflection of Facelli's obsessions like the one for the 90s aesthetic that shares with the contemporary streetwear, is not a coincidence that man is the mastermind behind the Vlone statues at the Milan pop-up event. If you are curious to see the works of Andrea "Face" Facelli, his charming and sinister romance, the appointment is with "Tales of Snakes & Holy Water" from February 2 at the Le Fix Gallery (Kronprinsensgade 9B 1114) in Copenhagen. And maybe you could be among the lucky ones to get a limited edition T-shirt that accompanies the launch of the exhibition.
