Raf Simons SS 2013 capsule collection

Il famoso sito di e-commerce Mr Porter ha iniziato da diverso tempo a collaborare con gli stilisti più cool nella realizzazione di collezioni esclusive. 

Ultima nella lista è quella con Raf Simons. Il designer belga crea una linea floreale di menswear, la prima parte presentata da I-D magazine, che sarà in vendita dal 28 maggio. E’ uno shooting dall’ambientazione orientale ad opera del fotografo Jeff Hahn a mostrarci i 13 pezzi, bermuda, camicie, bombers, t-shirts, blazers, tutti dal taglio sartoriale, pulito, decorati da piccoli fiorellini colorati.

Pare che l’idea di unirsi per questo progetto con lo stilista di Dior, sia venuta al buyer Terry Betts che assistendo alla sua sfilata primavera-estate rimane incantato da quei modelli dal look fresco e sdrucito, come la soundtrack, Nevermind dei Nirvana, inno dell’epoca grunge. Così nasce una nuova linea, un nuovo sicuro successo firmato Porter-Simons.

The last one is with Raf Simons. The Belgian designer creates a floral line of menswear, the first part presented by ID magazine, which goes on sale on May 28.

The photographer Jeff Hahn makes a Japanese style shooting to show us the 13 pieces of the line, shorts, shirts, bombers, t-shirts, blazers, all tailored cut, clean, decorated with small colorful flowers.

It seems that the buyer Terry Betts had the idea of involving Diors's designer, watching at his SS fashion show and remaining enchanted by those cool and shabby models, like Nirvana's Nevermind, grunge era anthem. This is the way a new line, a new secure successfully signed Porter-Simons was born.
