Michal Mrzyglod lookbook

Michal Mrzyglod, designer polacco e studente al London College of Fashion, debutta con una collezione che cattura lo sguardo del pubblico. Chin- suru, termine gergale giapponese per indicare “scaldare al microonde”  è il titolo di questa sua prima raccolta di creazioni, tutte ispirate dai cambiamenti, risultato della riforma Meiji, avvenuti nella società nipponica durante il secolo scorso. Così se i riferimenti alla cultura del Sol Levante sono palesi nelle forme e nei tagli degli abiti, altrettanto chiaro è il collegamento con la natura, in particolare con i pesci, le cui squame e colori sono riprese nelle stampe. Sfumature accese di blu, grigio ed arancione richiamano l’attenzione e sottolineano lo stile a tratti futuristico di Mrzyglod, che sembra perfetto per vestire samurai metropolitani del terzo millenio. Il designer polacco è ancora uno studente, solo il tempo dirà se si trasformerà in un vero talento.

Michal Mrzyglod, Polish designer and student at the London College of Fashion, debuted with a collection that captures the attention of the public. Chin-suru, Japanese slang term to mean "warm up in the microwave" is the title of his first collection of creations, all inspired by the changes, the result of the Meiji Restoration, which occurred in Japanese society during the last century. So if references to the culture of the Rising Sun are evident in the shapes and cuts of clothes, equally clear is the connection with nature, especially with fish, whose scales are reproduced in prints and colors. Bright shades of blue, orange and gray draw attention and emphasize the futuristic style by Mrzyglod, that looks perfect to dress metropolitan samurai of the third millennium. The Polish designer is still a student, only time will tell if it will turn into a real talent.
