McQueen SS 2013 Campaign

La modella brasiliana Raquel Zimmerman si fa ricoprire di miele per la campagna spring – summer della collezione 2013 di McQueen, mentre la francese Manon Leloup e Matt Bell posano in versione fetish per la linea McQ. L’autore di entrambe le campagne è il fotografo David Sims. L’artista realizza immagini scultoree, vivide, quasi surreali in cui è il corpo ad essere protagonista. I volti sono distorti, trasformati: è l’abito a conferire identità. 

The Brazilian model Raquel Zimmerman allows to be covered with honey for the spring – summer campaign of the 2013 McQueen collection, whereas the French Manon Leloup and Matt Bell pose in fetish version for the McQ line. The author of both the campaigns is the photographer David Sims. The artist realizes sculptural, vivid, almost surreal images, where the body is the protagonist. The faces are misrepresented, transformed by honey or by masks, it’s the dress that confers identity.
