Shopping crush - Island dunks

Island è il nome della collezione spring – summer 2013 di Rick Owens. La linea si sviluppa attorno l’idea di solitudine e isolamento e questo si riflette nella silhoutte degli abiti, ma anche negli accessori, scarpe comprese. Anche le Island Dunks condividono il mood austero. E’ così per la scelta dei colori: bianco, nero e beige, e per la forma snella con punta rotonda. Sono scarpe da ginnastica con tomaia scamosciata in color miele, suola i gomma e collo imbottito, moderne e minimali. 

Island is the name of the 2013 spring – summer Rick Owens' collection. The line is developed around the idea of loneliness and isolation and this is reflected into the clothes’ silhouette, but also in the accessorizes, shoes too. Also the Island Dunks share the austere mood. It’s the same for the colors’ choice white, black and beige, and for the slim with a round toe. They are sneakers with honey colored suede leather upper, rubber insole and   padded collar, modern and minimal.
