House of Dagmar è “Punk dal punto di vista di Chanel”. Questa è la frase che le tre sorelle Kristina, Sofia e Karin usano per descrivere il loro brand, nato nel 2005 e subito diventato stella emergente della moda svedese e non solo. Se la scelta del nome è stato deciso insieme, era infatti quello della nonna, è Kristina ad occuparsi del disegno delle collezioni, lasciando alle altre due gli aspetti pratici ed economici. Lo stile Dagmar è spesso definito arty-chic per la sua ispirazione Art Decò e la combinazione di sensualità, sofisticatezza con aspetti non convenzionali. Muse della stagione fredda sono due icone svedesi: Lisbeth Salander, celeberrimo personaggio della penna di Stieg Larsson, e la pittrice Sigrud Hjertèn. E’ l’arte di questa ultima a determinare la scelta della palette con i toni del grigio- blu, ciliegia, verde, arancione, ma anche del nero. La collezione coniuga glamour e sartorialità, pellicce di alpaca e velluto, pelle e lavorazioni in pizzo. Dagmar style is often defined arty chic, because it takes inspiration from Art Decò and because of the combination between sensuality, sophistication and unconventional aspects. Muse of the cold season are two Swedish icons: Lisbeth Salander, famed character of Stieg Larsson’s pen and the painter Sigrud Hjertèn. The art of this last one determinates the palettes’ choice with the tones of grey-blu, cherry, green, orange, but also black. The collection combines glamour with tailoring, alpaca fur and velvet, leather and lace’s manufacturing.
