E’ ufficiale, Yves Saint Laurent sta per tornare alle origini. Nel lontano 1966 il talentuoso creativo francese creò una linea easy-to-wear chiamandola semplicemente Saint Laurent per distinguerla dalle prestigiose collezioni haute couture firmate con il suo nome. La storia della maison è mutata nel tempo con considerevoli cambiamenti di guardia tra nomi celebri e l’abbandono dello stesso Yves e l’acquisto del gruppo Gucci.
Nel corso degli anni, Yves ha dato vita ad un’eleganza androgina e ha donato al mondo della moda uno stile innovativo con la Sahariana, il Blazer e il Tailleur pantaloni, ridefinendo l’uomo moderno e la donna in carriera.
Tra l’insoddisfazione di molti addetti ai lavori, a partire dal 21 Luglio 2012 la celebre casa di moda perderà per sempre le sue iconiche iniziali YSL, con le quali tutti abbiamo imparato a distinguerla e conoscerla, diventando semplicemente Saint Laurent.

Way back in 1966 the French talented designer created a easy-to-wear collectios named Saint Laurent to distinguish it from the prestigious haute couture collections named after him. History of the maison has changed over time with significant growth among famous names, the abandon of Yves and the final purchase of Yves Saint Laurent by the Gucci Group.
Over the years, Yves has created androgynous elegance and donated, to fashion world, innovative styles like the Saharienne, the Blazers and Suits trousers, redefining the modern man and the conteporary business woman.
Among the dissatisfaction of many insiders, since July 21, 2012 the famous Maison forever lose its iconic YSL initials, with which we all have learned to distinguish and love it, becoming just Saint Laurent.
