Alessia Xoccato AW 12/13 - When the past geometry meets the modernity

Una donna sospesa tra linee anni ’60 e materiali avvolgenti. Contemporanea ma, al tempo stesso, che guarda al passato. E’ questa la donna che Alessia_Xoccato propone per la prossima stagione fredda. La modernità dei capi si rintraccia nella sartorialità delle linee. La stilista basa la sua collezione su effetti scultorei e grafici accompagnati da volumi che implodono. Cappellini e borse lineari completano il look. I cappotti morbidi e ampi sovrastano jeans skinny o vestitini che richiamano alla mente Twiggy all’apice del successo. Il grigio ed il nero si accompagnano ad un verde muschio invaso da note di azzurro che cosparge le camicette sartoriali. Le sete evanescenti e trasparenti si accostano a tessuti più pesanti e “croccanti” come quelli della lana bouclé. 

Alessia Xoccato, diplomatasi allo IED, vince nel 2009 il concorso Next Generation. Da allora la stilista ha iniziato a presentare le sue collezioni in tutto il mondo. La donna cui si rivolge è consapevole della sua femminilità che cerca di esprimere attraverso capi ricercati. 

A woman suspended between Sixties geometries and snug materials. Contemporary and past oriented at the same time. This is the Alessia_Xoccato woman for the next cold season. Modern items with sartorial lines. The collection is based on sculptural and graphic effects with imploded volumes. Hats and bags complete the look. Soft coats marry skinny jeans or short dresses that reminds us Twiggy ad  the height of success. Black and grey meets moss green or blue. Evanescent and transparent silk is combined to heavy materials like bouclé wool. 

Alessia_Xoccato, IED graduated, won Next Generation contest on 2009. Since that date, stylist presented her collection all over the world. She address to a conscious woman that express her womanhood through fancy clothing.
