I feticismi di geek e web surfers assortiti sono forse tra i più numerosi, sicuramente tra i più vari possibili e immaginabili. Tralasciando l’ossessione per i gatti, la collezione compulsiva di immagini rubacchiate qua e là (ma le ore perse a sfogliare Fffound?! Parliamone!), la diffusione di video virali sempre più idioti, l’effimero entusiasmo per i MEME generati di continuo (per chi ha voglia di approfondire il concetto → qui).

Che cosa resta? Le GIF ANIMATE. Un banalissimo effetto di movimento applicato ad un’immagine altrimenti statica. Preferibilmente ironica o addirittura politically in-correct.

Online esistono tonnellate, ma che dico, universi di siti e sitarelli dedicati alla collezione di questo piccolo mito visivo. Noi ve ne segnaliamo uno in particolare, Moving the still.

So what’s left? ANIMATED GIFs. A truly common movement effect applied on a still image. Preferibly  ironic or, better, even politically in-correct.

The web is full of websites enlisting any kind of animated gif, tiny little idols in the shape of an image.
