Queste installazioni di Nicole Evans e Pat Farrell fanno parte del Uncommon Common Art, una manifestazione che è alla ricerca di nuovi talenti artistici nata a Kings County, nuova Scozia, progetto di arte comunitaria in materia ambientale prodotto dalla Alliance of Artist Kings (AKA). Questo progetto mira ad evidenziare due dei beni del Kings County più grandi - l'abbondanza di creativi che vivono qui e l'ambiente stupendo che è il bacino del Minas. L'idea di questo progetto è nata dalla gioia di trovare creazioni inaspettate, mentre si esplora la natura. Il coinvolgimento non si limita ad artisti professionisti o solo ad arti visive. Negli anni scorsi Evans e Farrell hanno creato un'installazione assurda, delle porte sospese in aria sovrapposte che sembrano andare verso il nulla. Per i più attenti e amanti del cinema 80's questa scena ricorda Saturno rivisitata da Tim Burton in Beetlejuice, posto abitato dai "Vermi delle sabbie".

These installations by Nicole Evans and Pat Farrell belong the Uncommon Common Art, a show that is looking for new talented artists born in Kings County, Nova Scotia, Community art project on the environment produced by the Alliance of Kings Artist (AKA). This project seeks to highlight two of the greatest property of Kings County - the abundance of creative people who live here and the wonderful environment that is the Minas Basin. The idea for this project came from the joy of finding unexpected creations, while exploring nature. The involving is not limited to professional artists, or only to the visual arts. In the past years Farrell and Evans have created an amazing installation, doors hung in the air above the other seem to go to nowhere. For the most careful film lovers, this scene recalls Saturn's revisited by Tim Burton in Beetlejuice, place lived by "sand worms".
