"Gli intervalli tra i chiodi, che io uso come mezzo di articolazione della luce, hanno la loro origine nella conformazione delle mie mani. Lo spessore delle mie dita è uguale alla distanza tra i miei chiodi.” Il chiodo, in un gioco di luci e ombre, come elemento disturbatore nella vita quotidiana. L’atto artistico come alternanza di esperienza intellettuale e sensibile, è il fulcro centrale della poetica di Gunther Uecker. Firenze rende omaggio al grande esponente e co-fondatore dello storico gruppo Zero. 

Dal 28 aprile al 23 giugno 2012 si terrà nello spazio espositivo della Galleria Alessandro Bagnai, la mostra “Günther Uecker - la poesia della distruzione” presentata dal video di Michael Kluth, che anticiperà la mostra.

The nail in a checkered game of light and shadow, as an element upsetting everyday life. The artistic act as an alternation of intellectual and sensitive experience, is the central focus of the poetry of Gunther Uecker. Florence pays tribute to the great leader and co-founder of the historical group Zero.

The exhibition "Günther Uecker The poetry of destruction " will be held in the exhibition space of Alessandro Bagnai from 28 April to 23 June 2012. “The poetry of destruction " is a title taken from Michael Kluth’s video, which will introduce the exhibition.
