Art Talk Italia second episode

Continua il progetto di Vice Italia in collaborazione con Rebook fatto per dar voce a giovani artisti e nuovi talenti che

vogliono dire la loro sullo stato dell'arte oggi. Infatti per la seconda puntata di Art Talk Italia VICE ha fatto visita a Rä di Martino, artista romana, trapiantata prima a Londra, poi a New York e attualmente a Torino il cui immaginario è fortemente legato al linguaggio cinematografico e alle sue rielaborazioni.

Rä ha raccontato un po' della sua storia personale e della sua evoluzione artistica, illustrandoci alcuni dei suoi lavori più significativi, come No More Stars, in cui ha documentato le finte rovine dei grandi set cinematografici abbandonati in Africa del Nord, e offrendoci un breve, ma personale, spaccato di Torino. Ecco prorpio Torino attraverso le sue parole sembra diversa e profondamente ironica.

Continues the project of Vice Italia feat. Rebook made to give voice to young artists and new talents who want their say about the state of the art today. In fact, for the second episode of Art Talk VICE Italia has visited Rä di Martino, a Roman artist, transplanted first in London, then New York and currently in Turin in which the imagery is strongly related to film language and its revisions.

Rä told some 'of his personal history and his artistic evolution, showing us some of his most significant works, such as No More Stars, where he documented the fake ruins of the great abandoned movie set in North Africa, and offering a brief but personal glimpse of Turin.
