La collaboration entre PALACE et Carhartt WIP est de retour
Juste à temps pour la fin de l'année
23 Décembre 2024
Carhartt WIP and Palace come together once again to end the year in style with a collection of 13 pieces that highlights durable Cordura® fabric, vibrant color accents, and jersey garments adorned with graphic prints. This is not the first time the two brands have crossed paths: their collaboration in 2023 made headlines for striking a balance between Palace’s street aesthetic and Carhartt WIP’s workwear character. Now, the new capsule builds on these elements, adding a bolder and more functional touch. The range includes heavy-duty garments for winter and beyond. Standing out is the Ranger Jacket, made of Cordura® and featuring a contrasting quilted lining, designed to provide warmth and a touch of extra style. The iconic OG Chore Coat uses the same fabric but lacks padding, staying true to its workwear origins. On the back, a striking co-branded logo is prominently displayed, while the structure is reminiscent of the Carhartt WIP Skyler liner, offered here in bold colors like orange and blue, with an eye-catching “onion quilted” pattern.
Comfortable options are not lacking: the Car-Lux Half Zip Sweatshirt reinterprets Carhartt WIP’s classic heavy polycotton fabric into a high-neck zip sweatshirt with a kangaroo pocket. The hoodies, enriched with shared embroidery between the two brands, maintain a streetwear vibe, while the T-shirts feature prints drawn from Carhartt WIP’s archives, reimagined by Palace for a fresh and dynamic result. The accessories follow the same philosophy, emphasizing functionality without sacrificing style. The Payton Tote Bag and Duty Glove incorporate webbing details for a technical touch, while the knitted Storm Mask provides cold protection with a clean aesthetic. The Austin Trucker Cap, on the other hand, is ideal for those who prefer a relaxed yet recognizable look. Each item is prominently co-branded, leaving no doubt about the collection’s origins. The launch is further solidified by a campaign shot in New York by Michael J. Fox, featuring riders Kanin Garner (Palace) and Max Palmer (Carhartt WIP) in an authentic urban setting. The images highlight the fusion of Palace’s skate spirit and Carhartt WIP’s workwear legacy, showcasing how this partnership seamlessly merges different worlds.
