Classic Football Shirts
Exceptionally on Thursday we return with our trip into the world of the most beautiful football jersey ever, together with Classic Football Shirts.
This stop brings us in the middle of the 80s, in a reality that was about to be shaken from the foundations from one of the greatest geniuses of the history. Barcellona is prepared to revolutionize football, but not before having given a lesson of aesthetics and style. We depart really from here to rediscover a brand too many time forgotten.
"Made by Catalan brand Meyba with bold red, yellow and blue colouring and oversized V-neck collars this collection of classic Barcelona shirts are some of the most iconic of all time. The 1984 -89 range of home, away (yellow), third (sky blue) and fourth (red) FCB shirts signpost two memorable eras at the Camp Nou. The first was that of manager Venables (El Tel) with his English invasion of tactics and players with British signings Lineker, Hughes and Archibald. Despite lacking the flair and panache of superstar Diego Maradona who departed in 1984, the side went onto win La Liga in 1985 – remarkably their only league title in the ‘80s.
