NBA Superstars do the right thing

At eh end of 80s and the beginning of the 90s, in the USA stared to out some VHS called “NBA Superstars” that had the genius idea of matching the NBA superstars and a song in the top position of that era charts. Sometime ago, some of that wonderfull videos were putted on Youtube in HD version, giving us the possibility to enjoy the visul advantages that the VHS cannot did.

We selected few of them. Someone is useless to talk about (Michel Jordan) , however some others are less know, and we wrote something.

A song and a movie that marked and epoch, used as music for the images of one plater who changed forever the sport. “Take My Breath Away” of Berlin (soundtrack of Top Gun) on the unbelievable exploits of His Airness.

Charles Barkley is one of the most incredible personaity, in a universe of incredible personality. His mouth was large as his talent, and a lot of time he thought that he was simply born in the wrong period (like today Kevin Durant).

For sure it was wrong don’t talk about Shawn Kemp in “do the right think”. A unique talent, wasted too early due to an irregular life. But whaat a player The Reign Man, a perfect nickname for his ability, while the video of “Go” of Pearl Jam exalts his physical arrogance.

The best video of all the collection. Celine Dion e Dan Majerle who run together in a sunny playground, with perfect boys in the bleachers, blue jeans and white sneakers are the best expression of 90s. Who is Dan Majerle? The man with the best shoot in the world ( until the birth of Steph “Baby Killer” Curry), a white man with a black physique when the white didn’t jump like that.

A great hip hop track as “Stay Real” of Erick Sermoni s the soundtrack of the Kenny Anderson video. A playground style and a career around the NBA for Kenny, one of those who came in the NBA really young, second round pick in the Draft he became All Star really quicly. A talent great as a home, but he never won a title or played in a NBA Final.

A resume, with the best of the NBA basket around the 90s.  An advice: at 2.11 od the video, Jordan made something, but I don’t know the name od that thing. Magic.
