The new third jersey of Napoli is dedicated to Japan
Specifically, to the bond of the city with Kagoshima

The Napoli team, led by Antonio Conte, represents a true paradigm shift in the management of the club, particularly in terms of communication. This new approach is also reflected in the creation and especially in the launch of the new jerseys. In previous seasons, the outgoing club president Aurelio De Laurentiis surprised the football world with unconventional designs, which, however, did not always stand out for their refinement. With the start of the 2024/25 season, however, something has changed: Napoli has set aside designs featuring reindeer, spider webs, kisses, and camouflage patterns, opting for a more sober look, at least for the Home and Away versions, once again in partnership with EA7. For the launch of the Third kit, the club sought to recover its soul by including a bold and unexpected pattern.
The new Napoli third jersey is a tribute to Japan, specifically to the twinning that connects the Italian city with Kagoshima. The project "From Napoli to the World" continues, inspired by the figure of the samurai, a symbol of strength and honor. The twinning between Naples and Kagoshima has historical roots dating back to 1960 and symbolizes a deep affinity between two port cities that, despite being geographically distant, share distinctive elements: from their gulfs to their imposing volcanoes, Vesuvius for Naples and Sakurajima for Kagoshima. As a testament to this bond, the "Napoli-dori" was established in Japan and the "Via Kagoshima" in the heart of Naples, further strengthening the connection between the two cities.
