This year, Serie A has gifted us the Milan derby already in the fifth round, a crucial match for determining the standings in a league that has been very balanced so far. Yesterday, Inter-Milan was played, and we took the opportunity, thanks to the hospitality provided by Nike, to create a report on one of the most important derbies in Italy and Europe. Yesterday, the sunset over San Siro was different from usual: the sun was hidden behind the clouds and, metaphorically, seemed to announce the fate of Paulo Fonseca, whose tenure on the Rossoneri bench seemed poised to end already in the fifth round of Serie A and after a Champions League match – or at least, that’s what everyone thought. Yet, the pride of the eleven fielded by Fonseca was enviable, first taking the lead and then responding to the equalizer by Federico Dimarco. Beyond the result, the view of San Siro was, as always, enviable: every detail of its magnificent structure provided an impeccable backdrop to a very important match.
