RayBan and Ferrari launch a carbon Wayfarer model A limited edition of 1200 units in anticipation of the highly anticipated Monza Grand Prix

The Monza Grand Prix is the most anticipated event on the Formula 1 calendar, at least when it comes to the Italian audience. And the reception reserved for Ferrari drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz in front of the RayBan store in Piazza San Babila in Milan is just further confirmation of the love for the team's colors from Maranello, which becomes so palpable and physical during these days. The occasion for this authentic crowd bath was the launch of a very special Wayfarer model. RayBan's flagship model has been transformed into a racing accessory by using carbon fiber, making the sunglasses extremely lightweight and durable.

Carbon fiber is now widely used in Formula 1, not only on cars but also on various accessories such as helmets and the mandatory HANS device. Ray-Ban is launching a special edition of Ray-Ban Wayfarer sunglasses made entirely of carbon fiber in a black and yellow color combination. This material has allowed for significant advances in safety in this sport. To celebrate the occasion, the car numbers of the SF-24 and the drivers' equipment will feature the texture and reflections of carbon fiber. The sunglasses will be available in a limited edition of 1200 pieces and are already a collector's item for fans of the Prancing Horse.
