The Trefoil makes a comeback as the main feature on adidas' third jerseys

As expected for this special season, the jerseys of the top clubs will feature the Trefoil logo from adidas, usually reserved for the adidas Originals line. The logo has replaced the three classic stripes to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the brand and confirms the deep tradition of the German brand, both on the field and in the lifestyle sphere. The selected clubs to launch this special edition are, of course, the five most important for adidas, both in terms of football history and cultural impact, and have a long-standing sponsorship relationship with the brand. We are talking about Juventus, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Manchester United and Arsenal, who have presented their highly anticipated third jerseys through an iconic photoshoot featuring some of the most representative legends for each club.

Juventus

In line with the first two kits of the season, the new Juventus third jersey is once again inspired by the moon, specifically its reflection in the night sky. adidas has opted for a sophisticated palette with shades of navy blue highlighted by golden details, an all-over tone-on-tone pattern, and the return of the iconic Trefoil logo. The polo collar with a single button and the retro logo with the zebra design in gold make this jersey a classic for the Bianconeri fans.

Real Madrid

Every launch of a Real Madrid kit is an event, and the third jersey for the 2024/25 season is no exception, given the level of Galacticos expected from Carlo Ancelotti's team. In charcoal color with white details and embellished with a tone-on-tone pattern featuring the club's initials embossed diagonally. A truly elegant jersey that could only be unveiled by Zinedine Zidane.

Bayern München

Bastian Schweinsteiger was chosen as the legend to launch the Bavarians' third kit for the 2024/25 season. The historic captain of Bayern München and the German national team wears a very minimal kit, but one that still makes an impact. The light beige color of the base makes the other details of the jersey stand out, with the sleeve and collar edges in black and red.

Manchester United

The third jersey for the 2024/25 season for Manchester United is perhaps the most original of the lot. On the white base, two horizontal bands stand out at chest level, one red and one black, with another white band inside. The collar, unlike the others, is a crew neck, perhaps because the Away jersey already featured a polo collar for this season. The chosen crest is the same as the one seen on last season's Third Kit, with only the Red Devil outlined on the chest.

Arsenal

The Trefoil has not appeared on an Arsenal jersey since 1992, when they played their first Premier League season. This makes its return to the jersey a historic one, featuring a very modern design with a crew neck and a pattern inspired by the aurora borealis. The cannon is the logo used on all of the Gunners' jerseys this season, but adidas continues their choice towards a vintage and traditional style for their top teams.
