The sponsors of the Italian federations at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games Joma, La Sportiva, Karhu, and many others

At Paris 2024, Italy is doing everything possible to consolidate its eighth position in the Olympic Games medal table, keeping the pursuers at a safe distance. The pair Errani-Paolini triumphed in doubles, the first time in the history of Italian tennis at the Olympics. Marta Maggetti also made her mark by winning a gold in windsurfing; in short, the performance of the Italian athletes can be considered satisfactory, despite some disappointments - and many fourth places - that are part of the game. As usual, each athlete competed with two logos on their chest: one of their respective federation and one of the technical sponsor. There are numerous federations in competition and just as many technical sponsors, each chosen specifically for a particular federation. The exception is Erreà, a faithful companion of both the Italian Volleyball Federation and the Italian Archery Federation.

Many of these are Italian brands, companies that are the pride of the country like Erreà, Kappa (Italian Fencing Federation), arena, true institutions that have built their fame over the years, both within and beyond national borders. It is no surprise that the latter is the official partner of the Italian Swimming Federation, being a brand that was born and evolved in that sector. Among the most "predictable" sponsors due to its highly specialized nature is La Sportiva, which supports the Italian Climbing Federation. Among the most interesting cases is Luanvi, partner of the Italian Badminton Federation. It is a Spanish company very present in the country's sports scene - just like Joma, which sponsors the Italian Athletics Federation. It specializes in sports such as football, basketball, handball, and volleyball and has chosen to participate in an event of this caliber by joining badminton.

The list of sponsors continues with Seventyfour with the Italian Rowing Federation, Freddy for the Gymnastics Federation, another example of a brand with a well-established history and reputation in its own sector. It is worth noting that not all federations have a fixed sponsor for the athletes. For example, in tennis so far, Italian athletes have obviously competed with their own sponsor: the pair Errani-Paolini with ASICS, Lorenzo Musetti with Nike, and finally Andrea Vavassori with Mizuno.
