Under the presidency and creative direction of Ted Philipakos, Athens Kallithea, a club preparing for its return to the top Greek league after 18 years, has undergone a complete evolution. Not only on the field, but also in terms of an elegant and, most importantly, recognizable visual identity. For the third consecutive season, the club will wear Kappa, and as usual, it has not disappointed the fans' expectations. The Home jersey for the 2024/25 season, available in both long-sleeve and short-sleeve versions, stands out for its blue tones and raised pinstripes creating a pinstripe effect. For the third year in a row, it was designed in collaboration with the Munich studio, Bureau Borsche. Among the few but essential features, the jersey sports the ΕΜΣΤ logo of the National Museum of Contemporary Art in Athens: for the second consecutive year, Athens Kallithea continues a unique partnership, combining a professional football club and a cultural institution.

«Last season's Home jersey is one of my favorites among those we've designed over the years, but for this season we wanted to opt for a less sporty and more elegant look,» said Philipakos. Athens Kallithea celebrated the release of the jersey with a short film inspired by the 1960s entitled Hold Me Close to You. The film - set on the island of Spetses and accompanied by the 1965 track Krata Me Konta Sou (Hold Me Close to You) - was written by Philipakos, who chose to involve Athenians Theodore Selekos (director) and Evan Maragkoudakis (cinematographer). «Considering our club was founded in 1966, we often refer to the 1960s, a golden era of Greek cinema. That's what inspired us,» said Philipakos. «I was inspired by Tzeni Vanou's Krata Me Konta Sou, a song with vibes I wanted to explore and reinterpret.»

The Home jersey is exclusively available on the club's website. From September, it will also be available at the ΕΜΣΤ museum store.
