The best training kits in the Serie A

The time has come for training camps and friendlies for all the Serie A teams. The start of the new season is approaching fast: the players are back on the pitch and there is a great sense of curiosity to discover the new signings and understand how the new coaches work. At the same time, the start of the new season aligns with the debut of the new training kits or with the use of temporary uniforms while waiting for the club to present the official shirts. For both categories, we have collected the best examples.

Inter

Let's start immediately with an alternative kit, the one that Nike created for Inter’s technical staff. In fact, for the first training sessions at Appiano Gentile and for the first friendly match against Lugano, the team took to the pitch with a blue mirage solid color kit with light blue inserts, probably the same shade that will be used for the home jersey.

As for the technical staff, however, a model of the same design as the players was created but the main color has been changed and so Simone Inzaghi and his staff wore a vanilla-coloured shirt with details in the same blue as the players' kit which however, thanks the lighter background color, stand out more.

Roma

This season, adidas is taking a bold approach with Roma, not only when it comes to the home jersey but also with the creation of the training kits. They are so good that they’ve been adapted into playing shirts for the first friendly match of the season against Latina.

We are talking about a white shirt with small red inserts and details on which the wolfie logo stands out in a brighter, almost phosphorescent shade of red. The red shorts feature the three adidas stripes in bright red, mirroring the design on the shirt.

Verona

Joma's entire line for Verona this season is a tribute to the Scudetto won in the 1984/85 season on the occasion of the fortieth anniversary. An elegant reminder of the most important moment in the club's history.

However the production of the training kits winks at modernity with yellow jerseys characterized by bright shades and blue inserts with psychedelic patterns. The latter aspect is enhanced by the sweatshirts and by the decision to develop this pattern along the entire sleeve.

Napoli

Napoli has revamped their image for the 2024/25 season, introducing a redesigned logo to complement a classic jersey featuring a simpler and more understated design. This aesthetic transformation is also evident in the training gear worn by Antonio Conte's players.

They wear an uniform with a black background on which a blue pixelated design appears and runs along the entire shirt with the exception of the central band, the point where the sponsor's logo appears. A stylistic choice exalted to perfection in its adaptation for rain jackets.

Venezia

Venezia have yet to announce their new technical sponsor following the end of the collaboration with Kappa. Nonetheless, for the first friendlies of the season the club has decided to continue in the wake of elegance on the pitch by wearing a kit without logos, even if it is not clear whether it is self-produced or not.

The jerseys used are minimal but not anonymous: a completely black shirt for the home jersey and a total white kit for the away jersey, both with the club logo placed centrally just under the collar and two small circular bands (one black and one orange) placed at the height of the cut of the sleeve. Simple and elegant.
