nss sports celebrates the 40th anniversary of Maradona's arrival in Naples

On July 5, 1984, at the San Paolo Stadium in Naples, Diego Armando Maradona was presented for the first time wearing the blue jersey, welcomed by approximately 80,000 spectators who paid the symbolic fee of 1000 lire to see him step onto the pitch. It was an epochal event, a day when many Napoli fans found a new deity to believe in. July 4, 2024 marks 40 years since that special date: nss sports chooses to celebrate it with various initiatives between Largo Maradona and Piazza San Pasquale. NSS Sports' initiatives are diverse: from the launch of the book Maradona Tatuato, to a photographic exhibition featuring images from the book. These include a selection of collectible cards and a commemorative shirt reminiscent of the colors that adorned Diego Armando Maradona's PUMA t-shirt on July 4, 1984.
