The new Home jersey of Bayern 04 Leverkusen
With the Bundesliga patch won on the sleeve

The triumphant season of Bayern Leverkusen, winner of both the Bundesliga and the DFB-Pokal League Cup, has sparked great interest in the jersey that Xabi Alonso's team will wear next year. In fact, Castore had to create a design that highlighted the titles won by the Aspirine, for a kit that will be in high demand among fans. The choice fell on a different jersey from last season, black with a red cross, with red dominating and black confined to the sleeves and collar. Perhaps this choice was made to highlight the patch of the Bundesliga won, prominently displayed on the right sleeve, and the Champions League emblem, a competition where Bayer will return after years of absence.
The jersey is strongly inspired by the city of Leverkusen, which with its fans provided the backdrop for the magnificent ride of Xabi Alonso's boys: the diamonds of the water tower, a cross made up of the merlon bar of the crest, and parts of the map of the city of Leverkusen. The team's nickname, Werkself, or the factory of football, is also present on the collar of the jersey. Granit Xhaka, one of the symbolic players of the Aspirine, commented: "I think the jersey is a great success. It features classic elements with the black sleeves standing out from the base color. A typical and very traditional football jersey, this time mainly in red. I can't wait to represent my club with these colors in Germany and in the Champions League."
