PUMA and Serie A League present the ball for the 2024/25 season

PUMA and Lega Serie A today present the official match ball for Serie A, Coppa Italia, EA SPORTS FC Supercup, and Primavera 1 competitions for the 2024/25 season: the PUMA ORBITA Serie A. Inspired by heritage, history, and tradition, PUMA's new ORBITA ball celebrates the uniqueness of one of the most beloved and followed leagues globally. PUMA and Lega Serie A aim to celebrate the Italian championship by sharing the spirit and passion of fans worldwide. PUMA, in creating the new match ball for Lega Serie A competitions, was inspired by the emotional intensity that every football fan experiences when their favorite team is on the field.

In this first version on a white base, the PUMA ORBITA Serie A features graphics inspired by the colorways of the '80s and '90s with vibrant and contrasting geometric elements that stand out on the 12 large star-shaped panels with a reduced number of seams to allow for better connection with the ball. The ORBITA FIFA Quality Pro uses cutting-edge technology to create an optimal sphere that maintains its shape and allows for less water absorption. A POE foam is added to increase touch sensitivity, providing a firmer feel and better bounce consistency. Additionally, the 1.2 mm 3D textured PU surface improves aerodynamics and makes the ball more resistant to abrasion and wear, increasing its durability. The ball is also equipped with a rubber bladder and a PAL (PUMA Air Lock) valve for optimal air retention and bounce.
