After being teased by musician Chinsea Linda Lee, the Away jersey, along with the Home version, of the Jamaican National Team has finally been presented by adidas. The technical sponsor has lived up to the high expectations placed on the Caribbean Federation's jerseys every year, with a yellow Home jersey with green sleeves and black details, and an Away version characterized by a bold tribal pattern using the colors of the Jamaican flag. Along with the two game jerseys, the pre-match jersey in green with the Federation emblem in the center of the chest, surrounded by a complex traditional design, was also presented. The backneck of the jerseys features the words "Reggae Boyz" for the men's team and "Reggae Girlz" for the women's team.
Each of the three kits uses one of the three colors present on the flag: yellow for home, black for away, and green for pre-match. The national animal and flower - the Doctor Bird and the lignum vitae - decorate the kit, alongside a geometric and tribal design that mimics the flag and its characteristic cross. After collaborating with designer Wales Bonner, adidas has returned to in-house design for this season, paying homage to the island's deep history and tradition, bringing football and music closer together, especially through reggae and Bob Marley. There is no doubt that the Jamaican National Team jerseys will be among the most worn during summer music festivals, solidifying the bloke-core trend, especially during outdoor concerts this season.
