With the Home 2024/25 jersey, Real Madrid returns to a minimal design
As in the 2018/19 season
June 5th, 2024
Just five days after winning the 15th Champions League in its history, Real Madrid presents its new Home shirt for the 2024/25 season. The Blancos focus on a clean design: the protagonist is the color white and the Three Stripes and the German brand logo are in black. There is in fact a return to color blocking last used in the 2018/19 and 2014/15 seasons. Real Madrid's home jersey has never been particularly glitzy, but in recent seasons adidas has chosen different iterations for the club's home jersey. The most popular colors used to adorn the Galacticòs' jerseys have been purple and gold, certainly not coincidental considering their importance in Real Madrid's history. This year, the eyes of the most attentive fall especially on the oversized version of the adidas logo, an element that affects the balance of the jersey's design and has already been strongly criticized during previous releases.
As can be seen from the shoot posted by the Madrid club on Instagram, the jersey will also be available in a longsleeve version over which the adidas Three Stripes extend in full. The front area of the jersey incorporates a custom houndstooth pattern with the RM initials all over. The jersey is made of the most advanced materials and features HEAT.RDY technology, which regulates airflow to ensure good breathing for soccer players during matches. We just have to stay tuned to find out how Real Madrid's rivals will respond to this jersey as we await the start of a new season in which the Blancos, with an increasingly dense roster of world-class talent, will try to set every footballing record.
