Could Jordan Brand partner with a Premier League team?
After Paris, the Jumpman could also land in London
January 25th, 2024
A rumour that has been growing louder in recent days is that Jordan is interested in entering the world of football, this time directly into the highest league in the world: the Premier League. Of course, it is not yet known which team would be involved in the partnership in this case, but it would have to be a London club and linked to Nike. So the circle is narrowed down to Chelsea and Tottenham, the only two teams currently sponsored by Swoosh. This move would land Jordan in a market that has yet to be explored and is becoming a real cultural phenomenon given the soaring ratings of the Premier League in the US.
To date, Jordan has only collaborated with Paris Saint-Germain in the world of football, creating a synergy that has transformed the Parisian club's aesthetic by combining it with street style and NBA style. This relationship continues to this day, with Paris Saint-Germain releasing its fourth jersey with Jordan Brand just this week, once again utilising the iconic elephant print as it did with the third jersey. And this link between the lifestyle world and football could be the new direction that Jordan is also taking in the Premier League, trying to reverse the perception that is slowly diminishing after the extraordinary success of "The Last Dance".
