The new adidas ball for EURO 2024

Exactly seven months before the start of EURO 2024, the national teams that will take part in the tournament are still not defined and many verdicts could come in the national break that is currently underway. In the meantime, the official tournament ball has been unveiled, made by adidas and inspired by the European nations and stadiums of the German cities that will host the 24 teams that will try to take the title away from the Azzurri. 

The new adidas ball is called Fussballliebe ('love of football' in German) and features stylised geometric elements in 10 small triangular panels. The polyurethane sections are not stitched but heat-sealed, to ensure maximum performance during Europe's most prestigious national team tournament. Printed on the surface are the adidas logos and, of course, the UEFA EURO 2024 logo, while as far as the colours area concerned, adidas has created several variants, all of which can be found in the brand's online store. For the presentation, adidas chose to unveil Fussballliebe by reproducing it in a giant picture installed outside the Olympiastadion in Berlin, the facility that will host the final and that evokes good memories for the Italian national team.
