Toni Kroos has won everything in his career, both with clubs and with the German national team, and all with the same pair of football boots on his feet. The Real Madrid footballer's strange habit of wearing the adidas 11pro adipure model for almost ten years is well known, although the technology and design have constantly evolved in the meantime. Kroos, on the other hand, found his perfect model in the football boots introduced before the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, which best interpreted his pitch changes and sabre rattling, and has never changed. Over the years, adidas, his personal technical sponsor, has made new models just for him so he can always wear a new pair, keeping a line alive for just one customer.

Now those customers are turning into 250, as adidas has decided to produce a very limited number of 11pros identical to Toni Kroos', including customisations requested by the footballer such as the German flag on the heel tab. The upper of the replica versions is made of kangaroo leather as opposed to the original cowhide and the sole is taken from the adidas Copa Pure. A piece for real connoisseurs and collectors, but one that will be very hard to come by due to the very low number of pieces. There are only 250 pieces worldwide for a release expected on 15 October, although it has been brought forward in some regions. While the world of football footwear is going through a big change right now, with new brands on the market and different players changing sponsors, Kroos' loyalty to a single adidas model after ten years deserves a just reward.
