Venezia FC unveils its new away jersey

Venezia FC continue to unveil the jerseys they will wear in the 2023/24 season, and in style. For the away kit, manufactured by Kappa and designed by Bureau Borsche, English photographer Sam Gregg has chosen Arrigo Cipriani as his model. Arrigo Cipriani is an icon of Venetian style in the world and the son of Giuseppe Cipriani, the owner of the historic Harry's Bar, where people from Katherine Hepburn to Andy Warhol, from Orson Welles to Peggy Guggenheim and Ernest Hemingway could meet at the tables.

The jersey picks up on the vintage style of the 1990s, in classic white with the orangeand green colours clearly visible in a band at the bottom and in the polo collar, while the logos of the Lagoon Club and Kappa, as well as the centrally placed inscription 'City of Venice', are in gold. Besides the emblematic Harry's Bar, the other locations in Gregg's footage are Torcello, an island in the northern lagoon inhabited since Roman times, and St Mark's Square, seen from Cipriani's boat.
