Hunting for Red Star tickets at the flea market
The Parisian club's curious initiative for the last game of the season
May 19th, 2023
Red Star FC is no stranger to creative and out-of-the-ordinary initiatives to engage its fans and differentiate itself from the rest of the clubs, but the Parisian team's latest idea is truly ingenious. In fact, for the last home match at the Bauer stadium against Stade Briochin, Red Star FC, in order to promote its territory, will distribute the last 28 tickets not through the box office, but through the famous Saint-Ouen flea market. The world's largest art and antiques market, which stretches over seven hectares and attracts more than five million visitors a year, will become the site of a unique treasure hunt.
Indeed, hidden among the vendor stands will be 14 objects customised with the famous star that gives the club its name and match information, which will have to be searched for and found by fans starting on Saturday 20 May. Among the objects on display: a painting, a silver tray, a vinyl, an engraved glass, figurines, a plate, a banknote, an audiocassette, a cushion, a street-art piece, a retro shirt, an old postcard, a book and an autographed photo of Steve Marlet. Each object offers two tickets to support the Red Star FC on Friday 26 May, as well as a unique souvenir of a very special team.
