All the inspirations for the Kappa Cup jerseys in Naples
Designed by Marcello Pipitone exclusively for the Neapolitan stage

After last year's success, the Kappa Cup returns to Naples at a perfect time to celebrate football in the Campania city that still celebrates the historic Scudetto. On 18 May, at the Istituto Sacro Cuore in Corso Europa 84, teams Masardona, Dreamers and Social Raiders will face each other in a triangular match where music, food, culture and fashion collide. And it is precisely to underline the influence of football on the world of fashion that the Neapolitan team's jerseys have been exclusively designed by Marcello Pipitone, who creates an aesthetic coherence for very different inspirations through perfect symmetry.
The inspiration for Masardona, an institution that has defended and represented the city's fried pizza tradition since 1945, comes from one of the fresh ingredients used in Neapolitan kitchens, basil, while the colours are a direct reference to the colours of Naples. Dreamers, on the other hand, has chosen the colours of the American flag to honour the close relationship between music from the US and that from Naples - James Senese or not - and the collective's evenings that combine funk, disco and house until the early hours of the morning. Finally, Social Raiders unites Neapolitan creatives under the design of the symbol of the volcanic creativity of the Neapolitan city: Vesuvius.
