Inter and Roma have removed their sponsors from their jerseys On the last day of the championship, the Digitalbits logo disappeared

On the last day of the championship, both Inter and AS Roma took to the pitch without their main sponsor on the jersey. Indeed, the Digitalbits logo was removed from the Nerazzurri's jersey, while the Giallorossi decided to replace it with the SPQR lettering that has always distinguished the capital, as they had done in the 2016/2017 season. Given the constant delays in payments caused by the blockchain, this was an inevitable decision for the two clubs, who decided to terminate their existing contracts. In fact, the problems of the Nerazzurri have been known for months, complaining since the beginning of the season about the lack of payments for the entire 2022/23 season. A significant loss, which Inter put at around 85 million euros, for the blockchain platform, which had gone from sleeve sponsor to main sponsor this season.

After convincing everyone in Appiano Gentile thanks to the cryptocurrency trend and the strong growth plan proposed by Digitalbits, the first problems and deadlines began. Inter threatened Digitalbits for a long time to remove the logo from the jersey, but the final decision happened to come after that of AS Roma, who replaced the sponsor with the SPQR lettering at the home match against AC Milan. On 31 March, Digitalbits failed to pay the third instalment to the Giallorossi, who took immediate action, followed by the Nerazzurri. Now both Italian teams are looking for a main sponsor for next season and hope to find contracts worth 30 million euros a year.
