Juventus will collaborate with Gufram for the Milan Design Week
The pop style of the Italian design studio is exceptionally black and white
April 11th, 2023
On the occasion of Milan Design Week, Gufram is moving away from the typical poppy and colourful look of its collections to explore the extremes of the colour spectrum, inspired by the corporate colours of Juventus, and presenting some of its most iconic pieces in an exclusive black and white. During the week, the five windows of the Juventus shop in Corso Matteotti will feature a graphic layout of intersections, cuts, separations and interplays.
The space will include a football pitch where the white cactus, the black cactus, the black and white mouth and the Ron Ron - available in both the signature black coat and the new white version - will face off in a fierce match. In addition, the family of ironic and playful miniatures by Guframini is extended, here in a black and white version and with a black version of PRATONE®, as well as BOCCA® in the white version and a new CACTUS® in black and white shading.
Charley Vezza, Global Creative Orchestrator at Gufram, is excited about the collaboration, which marks a new chapter after collaborations with various companies in the world of music, fashion, art and automotive. "Gufram is now opening up to the world of sports by working with a company like Juventus, the biggest Italian professional football brand and one of the strongest teams in European football. Juventus, which like us is an important reference point in the industry, likes to experiment and enter into collaborations in different areas. I find it interesting to see how a design brand manages to combine these different worlds while staying true to itself and proving that radical design has no boundaries."
The Gufram Design Week project will continue at Capsule Plaza - the group exhibition that will be on show for the first time at Spazio Maiocchi. There, the brand presents its new living solution THE SCULPTED SERIES, designed by Snarkitecture, the New York design studio founded by Daniel Arsham and Alex Mustonen.
