Napoli's jersey for Valentine Day

Tonight Napoli will take on Cremonese in the Coppa Italia wearing an unprecedented jersey, white with red details and two red lips on the right representing a passionate kiss. The jersey, designed by EA7, is entitled 'o primmo ammore', linking the celebration of lovers with the burning passion of the Neapolitan team's fans. This is indeed the jersey EA7 has designed to celebrate Valentine's Day, which, as we all know, is just under a month away on 14 February.

The curious decision by Aurelio de Laurentiis' company relates not only to the design chosen, which recalls the modus operandi of the Christmas jersey with a reindeer in the centre just below the sponsor, but also to the timing of its release. Napoli have accustomed us to being tireless this season, both on the pitch after beating Juventus 5-1 at the Maradona Stadium and off it by releasing their ninth jersey.
