Hummel has a big problem in England
Elite Sports Group, the UK distributor of the brand has gone into receivership

After making headlines for its decision not to show its logo during the World Cup on Denmark's jersey, Hummel now has a big problem to deal with in England and it concerns one of its distributors. Elite Sports Group, the British distributor of the Danish brand has been put into receivership, a rather serious decision that will effectively stop the production and delivery of all the kits of the English teams that are: Southampton, Millwall, Bristol and Coventry. The only one to be saved in this situation is Everton who, despite having an agreement with Hummel, had already decided some time ago to opt for another distributor of the brand in America.
#SaintsFC has issued an important update to supporters on its retail operations:

A situation that obviously puts the teams in a very bad situation, also considering that this is Black Friday week, as well as happening in the pre-Christmas period where teams are used to sell large quantities of all their garments. Southampton for the time being have stated that they have ended all relations and it is unclear whether this decision will also affect the relationship with Hummel. For now, the four teams mentioned could be in big trouble, also considering that production for the shirts that will be worn next season usually starts during these months.
