Will Napoli really make a Christmas jersey?
The World Cup break will not stop Neapolitan team merchandising
November 14th, 2022
While the championship is now in recess in view of the upcoming World Cup starting next Saturday, and Napoli finished eight points ahead of second-placed AC Milan, the partenopea team does not stop making people talk about it. This time, however, it is not Khvicha Kvaratskhelia's gigantic performance that dominates public opinion, but a Christmas jersey seen at the start of Saturday's 3pm match, Napoli - Udinese. In fact, the children who are used to accompany the team on the pitch did so in this particular jersey exactly identical to the first home kit but with a reindeer with a Christmas hat at the abdomen. An unprecedented jersey that immediately attracted a lot of attention and has already been placed on the website but is not yet available for purchase.

Due to the World Cup Napoli will not play any official matches during the holidays but during the break De Lauretiis' team has scheduled a tour in Turkey where it could actually be worn. In fact, the partenopei have three friendlies scheduled, one of them against the team coached by Andrea Pirlo, the Fatih Karagumruk, where another acquaintance of Italian football, Fabio Borini, also plays. An indiscretion obviously still unconfirmed, but given the many releases of last season, almost 12, it would not be surprising if the current first in classic, in agreement with his technical sponsor EA7, decided to wear it, adding another shirt to the many already worn both in the league and in Europe.
